My first idea would be a closer service integration on /r/ethereum subreddit. There is a user base of around 10k subscribers and 100 average users online. Proposal It could be designed like follows: Coordinate with subreddit moderators whether such an integration would be welcome on /r/ethereum. Setup some RSS-Reddit-Feed-Bot which automatically ...

I believe that we should allow other cryptocurrencies to be discussed as long as they are in reference to or compared to Ethereum. Posts that are overly negative or positive of either Ethereum or any other cryptocurrency platforms in the post should be deleted or the user warned. Once the Dogethereum relay is running there are going to be a lot of questions ...

This is a Q and A site, and the topic is Ethereum. I would say that questions that passively involve other blockchains are fine so long as the main subject matter is Ethereum. That is to say I think: "How do i integrate Dogecoin with the Ethereum blockchain" is OK (albeit vague) BUT "How do I do x, y, and z with Blockstream" is not.

Maybe something like: Ethereum Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for users of Ethereum, the smart contract enabled blockchain network. Technical questions about Ethereum are welcomed here. With your help, we're working together to build a library of detailed answers to every question about Ethereum.

Seems this could be a community wiki and combining the OP and Hudson's answer: Ethereum Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for users of Ethereum, the smart contract enabled blockchain based consensus network. It's built and run by you as part of the Stack Exchange network of Q&A sites. With your help, we're working together to build a ...

Swarm is part of the Ethereum project itself. While I had my doubts that it is still under active development, Alex van de Sande just confirmed on reddit that Swarm still has some dedicated people working on it. This would make it on-topic. IPFS might be a different story, while it is not officially part of Ethereum; it is frequently used in combination to ...

I have reviewed how these tags are used in practise to see if they can be broken down logically: security could possibly be broken down into consensus, encryption / cryptography, cold-storage, security best practises for node operation, security best practises for client/wallet usage, security best practises for contract design, attacks offline is in most (...

Another idea would be a twitter integration into the #ethereum hashtag. It's the main tag for ethereum and contains around 15 tweets per hour. Proposal We could setup an RSS-Twitter-Feed-Bot which automatically crossposts links from new questions on Twitter. These tweets would include the question, the #ethereum tag and maybe other tags of the question ...

I'm also in favor of including technical questions about Dogethereum and other blockchains built upon Ethereum. The reason is that Dogethereum users & developers (and other blockchains users & developers) don't have their own SE where they can make questions. So rather than having them ask questions on Bitcoin's SE, Ethereum SE should be the to-go ...

When this site was first proposed on area51 was an argument for everyone interested getting involved on bitcoin.stackexchange.com under an [ethereum] tag. Seeing as we decided not to do that but just focus on Ethereum I would have thought there is no argument for widening this site to include other cryptos. Those who are interested can either get involved on ...
